Launceston United SC is based at the Birch Avenue Sports Grounds in the Launceston suburb of Newstead in Northern Tasmania and operates under the incorporated association of Launceston Soccer and Sports Club
The club has over 500 playing and associate family members and fields teams in the Northern Men’s Premier and Premier Reserve Leagues, Northern Women’s Premier League, Northern U18 League, Northern Men’s Division 1 League and over 340 children in over thirty Junior teams in the Northern Tasmanian Junior Soccer Association ranging in ages from Under 6’s through to Under 16’s players.
